The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly!

Overall “The Sledding Hill,” by Chris Crutcher was pretty well written.  I like how he goes against school rules just to show people what life can really be like. The thing I like most about this book, or in other words “The Good,” is how dark and twisted it is.  I mean a dead person is telling the story in the brain of his alive best friend. I find that extremely creative. “The bad” about this book is that it shows that some people are forced to go to church and they can lie there.  It also shows that people can put god into everything and sometimes he isn’t needed.  “The ugly” was for sure how he showed how depressed Eddie got. Eddie didn’t talk to almost anyone for a very long time, that’s depressing. I liked this book though, I would probably rate it a 7.5 because it was good but at some parts of the book the writing was being dragged on and it was boring.
