I found a quote on page 216. I find it very interesting because it tells what this scene is all about almost by just a couple of sentences.

“My dad’s going to tear you apart,” I said quietly.

He smiled. “Probably – but that’s not going to help you much now, is it?”

This was a conversation between Cait and Jamie. This was the scene when Jamie was about to take Cait in the woods to rape her. I think this is an important line because it shows that Cait’s dad cares for her a lot. It also shows she is defenseless in this scene. Then it shows Jamie being completely crazy when he is drinking, but really he is like this without alchoal too.
